Prepared to Respond: Hi Nabor Employees Take Part in CPR Training

At Hi Nabor, taking care of our community starts with taking care of the people around us. That includes our customers, our coworkers, and our neighbors.

Recently, members of the Hi Nabor team participated in hands-on CPR training designed to give our employees the knowledge and confidence to respond during a medical emergency.

A special thank you to Hands Over Hearts for providing the training and helping our team learn these potentially life-saving skills. Their hands-on instruction gave our employees the opportunity to practice CPR techniques using training manikins and automated external defibrillators (AEDs).

Employees worked through the steps of recognizing an emergency, responding quickly, performing CPR, and providing assistance while professional help is on the way.

Skills That Can Make a Difference

In a busy supermarket, our employees interact with hundreds of people every day. While we hope these emergency skills are never needed, being prepared can make an enormous difference when every second counts.

CPR training is about more than learning a procedure. It is about developing the confidence to step forward and help when someone needs it most.

Our employees jumped right in, practicing the techniques and gaining hands-on experience that can be valuable at work, at home, and throughout our community.

Investing in Our Employee-Owners

As an employee-owned company, investing in our people is an investment in Hi Nabor itself. Training opportunities like this help us build a safer workplace while giving our employee-owners valuable skills they can carry with them wherever they go.

We’re proud of everyone who participated and grateful for their willingness to learn, practice, and be prepared to help others. We’re also grateful to Hands Over Hearts for working with our team and helping make this valuable training possible.

Great communities are built by people who are ready to help. At Hi Nabor, we’re proud to have those people on our team.
